The Good Folk Club was born out of a show that was never meant to happen.

After learning that my headline show had been cancelled after months of prep, I decided (after a brief panic) to put on a secret show in a little recording studio in East London instead.

​

We dragged in some sofas, bought some drinks, invited a handful of friends, musicians and creatives, and spent the evening gathered around an upright piano completely unplugged.

​

Honestly, that show hit on a feeling I'd been searching for for years... it felt real, it felt raw, and it felt honest. It encapsulated everything I love about performing live.

And so was born The Good Folk Club.

​

An intimate concert series built around songs, stories and real connection — a show meant to be experienced in person, for real people to connect with real people, for musicians to meet other musicians and share their art directly to the people who just want to hear it, away from all the noise.

Each evening features a full unplugged performance from me, alongside special guests, and whatever else the night happens to become (audience participation encouraged) 🌳
